We have an aesthetic nurse practitioner visiting the salon on a monthly basis to carry out a range of treatments.
All procedures are carried out by Jodie Grove, Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber, director of The Grove Skin Clinic and member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses.
Jodie had a nursing career for over 16 years and worked in many specialties during this time, gaining extensive experience in clinical skills, management and training, before moving into beauty aesthetics.
She creates a treatment plan for each client, based on their individual needs. She treats her clients in a very natural way, enhancing what they already have and advocates a ‘less is more’ approach.
“My biggest compliment is my clients telling me that no-one even noticed that they had had any treatment. Then I know I’ve done my job well.”
Since training in the aesthetic field Jodie has completed her prescribing degree at Cheltenham University, allowing her the extra scope to offer her clients additional treatments.
The Grove Skin Clinic is registered with Health Inspectorate Wales as an independent hospital and Jodie has been a finalist in the prestigious London Aesthetic Awards for two years in a row and she was commended in the category for Best Clinic in Wales. She has also been a finalist in the My Face My Body Awards for two years, as well as a finalist in the Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards three years running.
Jodie was recently featured on BBC Wales in a news piece on safety in practice and protecting the public. She prides herself on the safety and efficacy of the treatments provided, with customer service and aftercare being her priority.
