Goji Hair

Greg James is at the creative helm of the salon overseeing a team of highly skilled stylists and natural hair colour specialists. Greg knew that hairdressing was his vocation from an early age and has been fortunate to have never needed to deviate from his path. He began his career at Vidal Sassoon in 1999 and quickly progressed through increasingly senior positions at several leading salons before becoming Creative Director of Aveda salon, Kamigata. Here he developed his understanding of the benefits of organic products. Greg is now delighted to be leading his own team at Goji and, as well as providing the full range of colour and cuts, he is also our Great Lengths and hair up specialist. He loves to be inventive so if you’re not sure what you want, just put yourself in his capable hands!

Daryl joined the creative team in 2024, taking over the reins from Sophie following her departure for Scotland.

Daryl has 12 years’ experience in hairdressing/barbering, starting off at the age of 15 working Saturdays in a salon in Rugby where he grew up. He loves all aspects of hairdressing and barbering from colouring, to perming, and also offers hair extension services. He believes that you never stop learning and he seeks new education opportunities whenever he can.

Katie is an experienced stylist who joined us having worked in several salons in and around Cardiff since qualifying in 2013. She offers the full range of cut and colour services, as well as gents’ and children’s cuts, but her passion is hair-up and wedding hair. Her warm and bubbly personality makes her popular with her clients. She also keeps the salon on track and can be found on reception when she isn’t on the salon floor.

Laura joined the team in 2025 as a Senior Stylist and offers both cutting and colouring services.

Ebony originally joined us as a salon assistant, completing her NVQ Level 2 qualification under Greg’s watchful eye. Having gained a huge amount of experience in the salon, she has now earned the position of Advanced Stylist and offers the full range of cuts and colours, as well as hair straightening services.

Megan is every hair salon’s dream keeping the salon running smoothly. She completed her NVQ Level 2 qualification and is now our Graduate Stylist offering a range of cutting, colouring and hair smoothing services.

Chloe is our pocket rocket!  Her petite stature is in direct contrast to her energy levels.

Hairdressing is Chloe’s passion, particularly colour and blow dries.

In her spare time she likes to spend time with friends and family…and bike rides!

Vicky originally set up Goji with business partner Greg and they ran it for 7 years together, very successfully. In 2023 Vicky decided to reduce her role in order to focus on fostering but is still behind the scenes as the accounts manager and supporting Greg when needed.
