Useful information
Patch tests are required a minimum of 24 hours prior to an appointment for eyelash or eyebrow tints, lash lifts, party lashes, eyelash extensions and brow lamination; the minimum age is 16.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your first beauty appointment in order to complete the client questionnaire and to have a consultation.
Don’t forget to bring flip flops with you to your pedicure appointments.
Wear loose clothing to waxing and tanning appointments.
Lash lifts: you will need to avoid getting your lashes wet for 48 hours following the appointment.
Lash extensions: the process takes one to two hours, depending on the thickness and quantity of your natural lashes. Choose from a variety of lash lengths, colours and degree of curl before each lash is teased out and the lash extension is fixed to it using a specially formulated glue before being held in place to seal it with fine tweezers. Lash extensions need to be removed in salon.
Pregnancy: enjoy a relaxing 60 mins pregnancy massage with pillows to support your bump. We also offer a Pregnancy Pamper Package which includes a 60 mins pregnancy massage, a shape and polish pedi and a standard bikini wax for those hard to reach bits! The massage is suitable from 12 weeks to full term.
Brow lamination and lash lifts are not suitable for pregnant women. Also, some standard massages are not suitable during pregancy – please check at the time of booking.
Contact lenses need to be removed whilst eyelash tints, lash lifts and lash extensions are carried out. They can be popped back in immediately afterwards.
Gelish nail removal: standard Gelish nails can be removed at home although we recommend that it is done professionally to avoid any damage to the nail.
Tanning: this Vita Liberata organic treatment will soften, hydrate and moisturise your skin whilst leaving you with a longer lasting natural tan. Please ensure you leave at least 48 hours between any hair removal procedure and the tanning application in order to allow the pores to close. Following application, development time will depend upon the skin tone and this will be explained by the therapist. Contact with water should be avoided whilst the tan is developing, along with any activities that cause perspiration. A Vita Liberata moisture boosting cream can be used to prolong the tan and is available from the salon.
Please note that clients need to be well and cold-free for beauty appointments, particularly for facial and massage appointments, for their own well-being and that of the therapists.
Currently at Goji we ask that clients provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice of any cancellations. We understand that there can be a variety of circumstances leading to a cancellation and we will try to reschedule where possible. Repeated cancellations, or a ‘no show’ will lead to a polite request for a prepayment for the following appointment.
Unfortunately, we are still having issues with very late cancellations and no-show appointments. As a small business this is having a huge impact on us, and we now have no choice and must charge for these.
From 1st May 2023 any appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at 50% of the service.
We hope that you can all understand that this is not a decision we have taken lightly and are grateful for all your loyalty and support.
We also require a 50% deposit for all first appointments for new clients, as well as on-going appointments over £100.
