Master Stylist
We are looking for an experienced Master Stylist to enhance the creative team at our exclusive, award-winning hair salon.
Duties:
- Provide a wide range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, stylist, and treatments
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Provide aftercare advice to clients including the sale of salon homeware
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry
- Mentor and train junior stylists
Person Requirements:
- The successful candidate will need a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a stylist and colourist with their own column, and be able to do both to an exceptional standard.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
- Knowledge of various hair types, styles and treatments
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Be reliable with a strong work ethic
- Be an excellent team-player and enjoy working as part of a happy team
Remuneration:
All our team is directly employed and we are offering a competitive salary plus commission, and the opportunity to make a difference within our fast-growing business.
The post is full-time and will include late nights and Saturdays (Sundays/Mondays off).
NB There is the potential for having one Saturday off per month after the probationary period has been completed.
NVQ Level 2 is required as a minimum and NVQ Level 3 would be an advantage.
