Barber
We are looking for an experienced Barber to join the barbering team at our exclusive, organic hair, beauty and barbering salon in the Pontcanna area of Cardiff.
We are a versatile barbershop offering a wide range of barbering services including skin fades, wet shaves, beard trims and scissor cuts and so a wide range of barbering skills is required.
All of our team are directly employed rather than rent-a-chair so they know that, whatever lies ahead, their income is protected.
The successful candidate will need a minimum of 2 years’ barbering experience and NVQ Level 2 is required as a minimum.
We are offering a competitive salary plus commission and the opportunity to make a difference within our fast growing business.
The post is either part or full time and will include late nights and Saturdays.
Salon Assistant
We are looking for a part-time Salon Assistant.
Responsibilities will include:
Greet & gown up clients as required; shampoo and condition client’s hair as required by the stylist; provide refreshments; keep backwash, colour bar and equipment storage areas clean and organised; clean salon at start of day and maintain salon appearance and cleanliness; replenish stock as needed; wash and sterilise salon equipment; assist the stylist as necessary; fully participate in the apprentice training programme and secure models as needed; provide blow dries to clients as and when able to do so, having achieved the competencies needed to do so
Along with your salary you will also receive training from the Creative Director to help you build your skills and experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
The candidate should have NVQ Level 2 and/or 1 year salon-based experience
Exact hours will be agreed with the successful candidate but will include Thursday late nights and Saturdays.
The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage for all our roles.
