Senior and Advanced Stylist positions:
We are looking for an experienced Advanced Stylist and Senior Stylist to enhance the creative team at our exclusive, award-winning hair salon in the Pontcanna area of Cardiff.
Duties:
– Provide a wide range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
– Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
– Provide aftercare advice to clients including the sale of salon homeware
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry
Person Requirements:
The successful candidates will need a minimum of:
4 years’ experience as a stylist and colourist with their own column for the Senior Stylist
2 year’s experience as a stylist and colourist with their own column for the Advanced Stylist
and be able to do both to an exceptional standard.
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
– Knowledge of various hair types, styles and treatments
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Be reliable with a strong work ethic
– Be an excellent team-player and enjoy working as part of a happy team
Remuneration:
All our team is directly employed and we are offering a competitive salary plus commission and the opportunity to make a difference within our fast-growing business.
The posts are full-time or part-time, to be discussed with the successful candidates, and may include late nights and Saturdays (Sundays/Mondays off).
NB There is the potential for having one Saturday off per month after the probationary period has been completed.
NVQ Level 2 is required as a minimum and NVQ Level 3 would be an advantage.
